Prof. Marek Jastrzębski is a Consultant Cardiologist & Electrophysiologist at the Jagiellonian University Hospital in Krakow, Poland. He graduated from Jagiellonian University Medical College in 1995, trained at the First Department of Cardiology CMUJ and broadened his experience/perspective via multiple short visits at leading cardiac centers in Europe and US. He is practicing electrocardiologist with > 7500 electrophysiological procedures performed. He is a pioneer of His bundle pacing and was the first to implant left bundle branch pacing and LOT-CRT devices in Europe. He has a strong research record, publishing many peer reviewed articles (> 250), and is an invited speaker at international conferences and meetings. Prof. Jastrzebski is passionate about conduction system pacing and EP education and is currently Head of the EP Laboratory at Jagiellonian University Hospital and President Elect of the Polish Heart Rhythm Association.
