Prof. Maciej Harat

Clinical Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology and Chair of Department of Neurooncology and Radiosurgery at Franciszek Lukaszczyk Oncology Center (FLOC), Bydgoszcz, Poland. Professor Maciej Harat is a radiation oncologist with a specialist research interest in treating adults with primary brain tumors. He completed his PhD course at Nicolaus Copernicus University and currently is appointed as Head of Clinical Medicine Department at Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology . Major research interests include optimization of radiotherapy and stereotactic radiosurgery for patients with primary and metastatic brain tumors, and new imaging modalities in radiation oncology planning. Professor Harat serves as a president of Stereotactic Radiosurgery Section of Polish Society of Radiation Oncology, member of European Association for Neuro-Oncology (EANO) and EORTC Brain Tumor Group, and is currently a member of CNS Focus Group of European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO).
