Dr Adam Studniarek

Dr. Studniarek attended Canisius College in Buffalo, NY on a soccer scholarship where he majored in biopsychology, pre-med and conducted research at the Institute for Autism. During undergraduate years, he deepened his interest into medicine and surgery in particular and graduated cum laude as a Division I athlete. He then attended Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poznan, Poland.

Upon graduating from medical school, Dr. Studniarek was accepted to a general surgery residency program at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in New Jersey where he completed 5 years of general surgery residency training with additional two years of dedicated colorectal surgery research fellowship at University of Illinois at Chicago. At Rutgers, he was awarded the Chief Resident of the Year Award and further pursued his interest in colorectal surgery by moving to New York to complete a prestigious colorectal surgery fellowship training at Weill Cornell/Memorial Sloan Kettering with a particular focus on robotic surgery and management of advanced colon and rectal cancer. Dr. Studniarek has been present and involved in the Polish medical community since his arrival to the United States and played a big role in the formation of Junior Polish American Medical Society Division in Chicago. He has been involved in promoting Polish culture, supporting medical students and residents of Polish descent, and fostering the Polish-American professionnall and social relationships with colleagues and friends in different countries.  

He truly enjoys working with the next generation of medical professionals and has particular interest in education within the medical profession.
